The iRefair Story

iRefair is a newly launched initiative dedicated to connecting individuals, mainly newcomers, seeking job referrals with professionals who can refer them within their companies in Canada.

It was born out of a desire to give back to the community and support newcomers navigating the challenges of starting fresh. We are Inass and Mohamad, a sister and brother who know firsthand the power of a referral. Without one, Mohamad wouldn’t have secured his first job in Canada.

For many newcomers, landing a job without Canadian experience is an uphill battle. That’s why a referral can be a game-changer, and we’re here to make those connections happen.

iRefair is completely free of charge and operates under the HR Consulting Department of &Beyond, in close collaboration with Inaspire coaching.

iRefair stands for “I refer”, a phrase that highlights fair connections and real referral opportunities. It reflects our mission to create a supportive, community-driven network where everyone has a chance to grow and thrive.

iRefair is a free, community-driven initiative dedicated to helping newcomers in Canada—particularly Lebanese and Arab individuals—connect with professionals who are open to referring them for job opportunities within their companies. It aims to ease the job search process for those lacking Canadian experience.

iRefair was founded by Inass and Mohamad, a sister-brother team who personally experienced the challenges of starting over in Canada. Mohamad was able to land his first job through a referral—this inspired them to create a platform that pays it forward.

No. iRefair is not a recruitment or staffing agency. It is a not-for-profit initiative operated under the HR Consulting Department of &Beyond Consulting as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, in partnership with Inaspire, a life coaching platform focused on mindset growth.

Job seekers submit a form to request a referral. Professionals who are open to supporting newcomers submit a separate form to offer a referral. iRefair matches both sides where possible to facilitate a connection.

After signing up with Get Referred and confirming your email, you will receive an iRefair Applicant Identification Number (iRAIN) along with an Applicant Key. Keep these credentials safe, as you will need them to apply for positions.

Any newcomer to Canada who is actively job searching and needs support entering the workforce—especially those who lack Canadian work experience or local networks—can apply. iRefair is open to individuals of all nationalities and professional backgrounds.

iRefair is completely free of charge. There are no fees for either applicants or referrers.

No. A referral is not guaranteed. iRefair does its best to make meaningful matches, but outcomes depend on availability, relevance, and referrer discretion.

iRefair supports all industries—tech, healthcare, business, education, hospitality, and more—depending on the professionals in our referral network.

No. You’re welcome to refer as many individuals as you’re comfortable with. Every connection matters.

iRefair operates nationwide across Canada, connecting newcomers with professionals in cities and provinces from coast to coast.

“iRefair” is short for “I refer” and reflects the idea of fair, supportive, and inclusive referral opportunities. It embodies the mission of building a community where everyone gets a fair chance to thrive.

This number, called the iRefair Applicant Identification Number (iRAIN), will serve as a unique reference for every individual who signs up on Get Referred.

Instead of re-submitting all their information for each company or position, applicants can simply complete the Apply Now form using their iRAIN and Applicant Key. This streamlines the process, saves time, and makes it easier to apply to multiple positions.

With the iRAIN, applicants can apply to as many companies and roles as they wish without having to re-enter their details each time.
